This is a private place, surrounded by 150 acres of woods, rocks, and sweeping views of grand Lake Superior - A truly romantic getaway. We also have several deluxe cottages that include 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, deluxe kitchen, wood burning fireplace, Jacuzzi bath, top-notch furnishings, wood floors, ceramic tile, and wood clad interiors. At Cove Point Lodge, we provide our guests with a quiet atmosphere, privacy and a breathtaking scenic panorama. At the same time, we offer all of the activities one would expect on the North Shore including hiking trails, recreation paths and bike trails, incredible cross country trails, and of course a beautiful pool, sauna and spa to use at the end of the day. What have we done to provide for your comfort and privacy? First, the lodge is located away from the main highway. Second, we do not have convention facilities. We focus on the needs of couples and families rather than large groups and events. Third, our lodge is small with many places for you to explore or sit privately and watch the waves on Lake Superior.
